Definition

Screen in Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) that displays information on requirements, receipts and stocks for a selected location product.

Use

Various functions are available in the product view for processing receipts and requirements .

Structure

The product view contains the tab pages listed in the following table.

Tab page

Contents

Elements

This tab page displays the stock, receipt and requirements elements for the location product.

Double-click on an element to reach the order processing view .

Periods

This tab page displays period-related data, for example, the total receipt quantity, the total requirements quantity or the available quantity in a period. Double-click on Total requirements or Total receipts to see a list of the individual requirements or receipt elements.

Quantities

This tab page displays curves for the time line of the cumulated requirements and receipts.

Stock

This tab page displays stock data.

In this view, you can see how much stock of a product is in each of the locations to which the product is assigned. Any stock assigned to an account is listed separately. The storage location, batch, category and unit of measure are also displayed. By double-clicking a location node, you can display the product view for the product in this location.

Product master

This tab page displays the location product master.

Pegging Overview

Thie tab page displays the pegging relationships between the receipt and the requirement elements of a product. In the pegging overview, you can create and delete fixed pegging relationships between requirement and receipt elements manually on a single level. See also: Pegging Overview

Stock and receipt days’ supply are also displayed if you have defined the corresponding days' supply types in Customizing for Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling . (See Calculating the Days’ Supply )

You can make the settings for the content and configuration of the product view under Start of the navigation path Settings Next navigation step User Settings End of the navigation path .
