You use this function to analyze exceptions from order proposal items (for example, the date when stock for certain products is expected to fall below the minimum stock level). The exceptions of order proposal items have an informative nature for you as the replenishment specialist in the store. As a store manager, you can release the order proposals for the purchase order.
Exceptions can relate to the following objects:
Order proposal
Order proposal item
Inconsistent data (for example, missing master data)
Demand influencing factors
The Store Exception View is configurable; that is, in Customizing you can choose which fields you want to display on the screen.
Store users can view the low-level exceptions related to high-level ones.
The system displays an icon indicating which exceptions have been processed.

You can display objects that have exceptions in the following ways:
According to assortment (monitoring function)
In this display variant, you see the exceptions for order proposal items with an informative nature. If purchase orders are only permitted on certain days, the assortment-related user interface can be useful for spotting and covering sales peaks for a product.
You can select exceptions for order proposal items from the assortment view and the order proposal view.
According to order proposals (planning)
In this display variant, you see the exceptions for order proposals. The exceptions relate to errors that are preventing processing in the system (for example, through restrictions).
Note
You can only display the exceptions at order proposal level when in the navigation tree in the order proposal view.
You can display the following information about exceptions:
Description of the exception
Product number, merchandise category, shelf information (layout module)
Priority of the exception
Status of the exception
Note
If you change the status in the details view, set the exception to Completed.
Choose Order Proposals
in the selection
menu. The selection menu is on the right-hand side of the screen above the
product list. According to your area of responsibility, you create the worklist
for the product list by selecting the user interface. The result of the user
interface is visible in the navigation tree.
Select an object from the navigation tree to display the product list. Depending on your selection, the product list contains order proposal items for an assortment or for various order proposals.
Displaying the exceptions
Choose the relevant product number in the product list to display the details view. You can select the following tab pages in the details view:
Order Proposal Exceptions at Header Level
Order Proposal Exceptions at Order Proposal Item Level
Using the detailed view, you can display the exceptions and decide
whether to set the status of the exception to Completed
.
To change the status, set the Completed
indicator
in the column for the relevant exception.
Choose the icon with the quick info text Exceptions
at product
level in the product list to go straight to the existing exceptions
in the detailed view.

Note
If there are no exceptions, the icons for displaying exceptions are not visible.
