Support users are members of an internal store support team providing remote telephone support to the users of the Replenishment Workbench for Stores (RWBS). This user type allows the support team to troubleshoot user problems by simulating the user’s actions. By logging on to RWBS in simulation mode using the same store and responsibility assignments as the users they are helping, they can reproduce the same steps as the users, but without the ability to save the changes or update the database.
You define support users in the backend using the Support
User Maintenance transaction
/FRE/RWBS_SUPPUSR.
A support user cannot also be another type of user; that is, a support user cannot also be a store manager or replenishment specialist. Therefore, support users do not appear in the Responsibility User list.
