Function documentationConfiguring the Worklist Display (PWB)

You can use this function to configure the navigation tree and the selection result in the Product Workbench (PWB) main screen and subscreens.

Integration

By creating selection variants and display variants, you, the replenishment planner, can navigate to many specific views of your assortment quickly and effectively. For more information, see Worklist Selection (PWB).

SAP F&R uses the same layout settings in the general subscreens for exceptions and time series. When you configure the layout in the Replenishment Workbench, the Layout Workbench uses the same layout – and vice versa.

Features

  • You can use the navigation tree with the settings of the default display variant or you can modify it and save it as a new display variant. In the standard settings, the navigation tree hierarchy is divided into Vendor / Goods Recipient / Merchandise Category / Product Number.

  • After you start a selection, the PWB displays the location products that meet the criteria hierarchically in the navigation tree. You can select entries here and process them in one of the main screens (Location Products; Exceptions) on the right, next to the navigation tree. In the standard settings, the system displays the selected location products in main screen Location Products.

  • Main screen Location Products

It contains the location products selected in the navigation tree, as well as functions for processing them further. For more information, see Displaying and Maintaining Data for Selected Location Products. The PWB contains the following subscreens:

    • Selected Location Products

This screen provides an overview and, in contrast to the subscreens described below, cannot be hidden. The contents of the subscreens for order proposals and exceptions always refer to the currently focused location product.

    • Order Proposals for Location Product

When you focus on a location product in the overview screen (Selected Location Products), the system displays the order proposal items without final delivery, along with all their dependent data.

    • Time Series for Location Product

The Product Workbench offers the same time series functions for the focused location product that are available in the Replenishment Workbench and in Cause Determination, for example, the display of consumption and forecast data in tables and charges and the display of modifiable planning data. Among other things, the system also takes consumption that it merged for a product substitution into account in the time series. For more information, see Time Series.

    • Exceptions for Location Product (without consideration of the source location)

After you set an exception subscription, you can display exceptions in the same manner as in the Replenishment Workbench and in Cause Determination. For more information, see Processing Exceptions.

    • Restrictions for Order Proposal

The Product Workbench displays restrictions similarly to the Replenishment Workbench. In this case, the system only displays details if a change has been made or if the user activated the display of restrictions for the selected order proposal in the Order Proposals for Location Product screen. For more information, see Restrictions.

  • Main screen Exceptions

Exceptions for the selected location products, with functions for processing and confirming the exceptions. These correspond to the like functions in the Exception Workbench. For more information, see Processing Exceptions.

  • You can use the layout function to configure the column selection and display of the individual sections to your specific needs and save these settings user-specifically.

  • You can use the toolbar in the main screen to show and hide the above subscreens. The next time you start the Product Workbench, the system uses the same configuration you used previously.

  • You can activate certain functions (such as automatic rounding) separately in the overview screen for location products and in the subscreen for order proposals.
