Product Substitution Procedure (PSP) A product substitution procedure is a grouping of several interchangeability groups.
In product interchangeability you can assign several interchangeability groups to one product substitution procedure. You use this group type for storing information on the substitution of products to support the integration with rules-based ATP. You can define restrictions (for example, validity) for each substitution.
The product substitution procedure belongs to a rule in rules-based ATP.
In the header data of the product substitution procedure you can specify, which validity dates of the assigned supersession chains must be used during the Global ATP check. You can choose between cross-location validity dates and planning validity dates.
The item data of every product substitution procedure consists of interchangeability groups (subgroups) of type FFF classes and/or supersession chains . You can group several FFF classes and supersession chains into one product substitution procedure as shown in the figure below.
