  Navigation Tree in the Product View.

Use

The navigation tree represents the scope of work of the product view. You use the navigation tree in the product view and in the product planning table.

Features

Within the navigation tree for the product view, the following sort and display functions are available:

  • Switching the navigation tree on/off

  • Grouping objects according to the following categories:

    • Planner

    • Product

    • Location

    • Destination

    • Source

  • Displaying alerts (days’ supply alerts, date/time and quantity alerts, characteristic and network alerts)

  • Displaying BOM and where-used list for components

  • Setting products to Processed and returning them to the worklist

  • Activating objects (meaning that the object is displayed in the product view)

  • You can replace the displayed objects by a double-click.

  • Products that you specify directly in the header data in the product view are adopted in the navigation tree.

The following functions of the navigation tree for the product planning table are not available in the product view:

  • You cannot show and hide objects in the product view.

  • You cannot sort by resource, line, and product group in the product view.

Activities

To show the navigation tree in the product view, choose Show/Hide Navigation Tree .
