Opening BEx Web Applications in the BI Launch PadLocate this document in the navigation structure

Procedure

  1. Log on to the BI launch pad.
  2. You have the following options for opening BEx Web applications:

    • In the My Applications module on the Home tab, choose BEx Web Applications .

    • In the Documents tab, choose Start of the navigation path New Next navigation step BEx Web Applications End of the navigation path.

    • In the header panel, choose Start of the navigation path Applications Next navigation step BEx Web Applications End of the navigation path.

    A logon screen appears on a new BEx Web Applications tab.

  3. Log on to the BW system.
  4. Call the Open Dialog window and select a BEx Web template.
    Note

    You can only open BEx Web templates with data sources that are stored in the BW master system. Your system administrator defines which BW system is configured as the BW master system in SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence.

Results

The BEx Web application is opened, allowing you to navigate in the data.
