Modeling Business Applications using ABAP

In the modeling phase of the development process you have to identify the business process or application that needs to be extended. Then you must build a conceptual model of the behavior of your extension.

Process Flow

1. Identify processes to be enhanced

   The business process repository shows the processes on a semantic level. Here you find the processes that need to be enhanced.

2. Find ABAP packages that implement the business processes

   Once you have identified the business process to be enhanced, you need to find the ABAP package(s) that implement the business process.

Result

You have identified the places for enhancement in the application and can now use the Enhancement Builder inside the ABAP Workbench to implement the enhancements.
