Assigning DataSources 3.x to InfoSources 3.x and Fields to InfoObjects 

Use

You carry out the assignment of a DataSource 3.x to an InfoSource in the BI transfer rules maintenance. An InfoSource can have multiple DataSources assigned to it if you want to consolidate data from different sources.

The fields for a DataSource 3.x are assigned to InfoObjects in BI. This assignment takes place in the same way in the transfer rules maintenance.

For BI Content DataSources, the assignment to InfoSources, as well as the assignment of fields to InfoObjects, is delivered by SAP.
