Procedure documentationResuming the Load Process Locate this document in the navigation structure

If you notice that the data loaded with the SAP Landscape Transformation Replication Server (SAP LT Replication Server) is not correct or does not meet your requirements, you can interrupt the load process, clean up the DataSource and InfoProvider in BW and then resume the load process.

Procedure

  1. Stop the data transfer in the SAP LT Replication Server.

    1. Call transaction LTRC, select the mass load ID for your configuration and choose Execute.

    2. On the next screen, go to the Table Overview tab page and press Data Provisioning.

    3. On the next screen, choose Stop Load / Replication and Execute.

  2. In the BW system, deschedule the load processes for posting data from the DataSource to the InfoProviders and remove requests that have been loaded already from the DataSource and the InfoProviders.

  3. Start the data transfer in the SAP LT Replication Server.

    1. In transaction LTRC for your configuration, go to the Table Overview tab page and press Data Provisioning.

    2. On the next screen, choose Start Replication and Execute.

If you have not performed step 2 (for organizational reasons for example) and have already resumed the load process in the SAP LT Replication Server, the PSA request currently open in the BW system is automatically closed. Data is still posted from the DataSource to the InfoProviders however.

The request ID of the closed PSA request is entered in the application log in the SAP LT Replication Server. The request ID provides information about which requests in the BW system need to be deleted from the DataSource and the InfoProviders in order to ensure that the load process is resumed consistently.

    Note Note

To find the request ID, call transaction LTRC for your configuration, go to the Application Logs tab page and filter the application log for the user. You can also use other criteria as the filter.

    End of the note.

Now clean the load status of the InfoProviders that receive data from this DataSource. To do this, proceed as follows:

    1. In the BW system, deschedule the load processes for posting data from the DataSource to the InfoProviders.

    2. Delete the request with the request ID displayed in the application log from the DataSource and delete all preceding requests too.

    3. Clean up the InfoProviders that have been posted to.

    4. Reschedule the load processes for posting data in BW.
