 Conversion from SAP APO Without R/3 Planned Order

Use

The planned order only exists in SAP APO (and not in SAP R/3) and is to be converted into a manufacturing order in SAP R/3.

Activities

SAP R/3 carries out the following steps automatically:

  1. Determination of the order type and order category into which the order should be converted

  2. Creation of the manufacturing order

    The manufacturing order is created with the data of the APO planned order. This means that the BOM and the routing are re-exploded, in accordance with the production version.

  3. Merging of APO and R/3 Data

  4. Saving of the manufacturing order

  5. Return of the R/3 Order Number to SAP APO
