This graphic is explained in the accompanying text

In this case, you are only interested in the combination of Product/Sales Channel. Thus, you need to store this accordingly in the definition of the condition. The evaluation of the condition is only performed in this case, if the following prerequisites are fulfilled:

·        Both characteristics are in the drilldown

·        Both characteristics are on the same axis.

·        The two characteristics are next to one another.

·        There are no active presentation hierarchies for these characteristics

·        The axis upon which the two characteristics are drilled down has no hierarchical display (see Working with Hierarchies in the section Displaying as Hierarchy)

Differentiation of the settings All Characteristics in Drilldown Independently and Single Characteristics and Characteristic Combinations:

The two settings all Characteristics in Drilldown Independent and Single Characteristics and Characteristic Combinations are NOT identical, even if all characteristics are in the drilldown.

Rule 6: Condition on Characteristic Combinations

With several characteristics, the setting Single Characteristics and Characteristic Combinations always stands for the combination of these characteristics and not for a set of (independent) characteristics. Characteristic combinations behave as if the characteristics involved were combined into a single characteristic. Also see Background Information on Conditions under Conditions for Characteristic Combinations.

You can use the setting Single Characteristics and Characteristic Combinations to create a separate condition for each individual characteristic in the drilldown. This corresponds to the setting all characteristics in drilldown independent. See Ranked List Condition for All Characteristics in Drilldown Independent: Top 3 Products and Top 3 Sales Channels.
