Example: Dragging a Characteristic to the Rows Using Drag and Drop 

Use

You want to move a characteristic from the columns to the rows and you want to position the characteristic to the left of the table.

Procedure

You have the following options:

●      Using drag and drop, drag the characteristic Calendar Year/Month from the navigation pane to the left of the rows in the analysis grid.

●      Using drag and drop, drag the characteristic Calendar Year/Month in the navigation pane from the columns to above the distribution channel in the rows.

●      Using drag and drop, drag the characteristic Calendar Year/Month in the analysis grid from the columns to the left of the rows in the analysis grid.

Result

The analysis grid is updated accordingly: The characteristic Calendar Year/Month is now drilled down in the rows to the left of the analysis grid and the corresponding data is displayed.
