Application Context

This command is particularly useful if you want to transfer the current navigational state of a data provider or Web items from one Web application to another separate Web application.

Example

You navigate in a BI cockpit and generate a particular view of the data. However, due to the cockpit design, the analysis capabilities in the BI cockpit are not extensive enough for your purposes. Therefore you switch to another Web application that has enhanced analysis capabilities. You transfer the view of data from the BI cockpit into this Web application. Here you can navigate further and analyze the data.
