Properties of the Web Item 

Use

In the properties dialog for a specific Web item you can make various settings for this Web item at runtime.

Integration

In the Web Application Designer, you or a power user from your department have created the Web application with various Web items (such as Analysis, Chart, Map, Dropdown Box). Various parameter settings were made for each Web item.

Features

At runtime, you can override the parameter settings in the properties of a Web item.

Activities

From the context menu for the required Web item in the Web application, choose Properties  → Web Item.

Example

You see the sales data in the analysis table and want to show the scaling factors for information.

...

       1.      In the context menu for a cell in the analysis table, choose Properties  → Web Item. The properties dialog for the Analysis Web item appears.

       2.      Under Data-Specific Settings, select the Scaling Factors Visible checkbox.

       3.      Choose OK.

In the analysis table, another header is inserted in row or column headers that contains the information about the scaling factor (such as 1000).
