The following information provides an overview of the functions provided in the Edit menu in the menu bar for the Web Application Designer.
You can choose from the following functions in the Edit menu:

Copy

You use this function to copy individual Web items, images, text and so on, or an HTML table, to insert them, for example, into another Web template. |
Cut
|
You use this function to cut a selected Web item, HTML element, image, or text. |
Paste
|
You use this function to paste any Web items, texts, images, or HTML elements that you have copied into a Web template. For more information about the menu options in the Edit menu, see Context Menu in Web Templates. |
Delete Web Item
|
You use this function to delete a selected Web item from the Web template. |
Edit <HEAD> Element
|
You use this function, which is only available in the layout view, you can edit the <HEAD> tag of the Web template. |
Edit <BODY> Element
|
You use this function, which is only available in the layout view, to edit the <BODY> tag of the Web template. |
Correct and Format |
You use this function, which is only available in the XHTML view, to trigger the check of the inner structure of the Web template. The XHTML text is also structured (formatted) during this process. |
Find |
You use this function, which is only available in the XHTML view, to search for text (such as HTML or BI elements) in the XHTML view of the Web template. |
Find and Replace |
You use this function, which is only available in the XHTML view, to search for and replace text in the XHTML view of the Web template. |
