Once you have included a map in your Web application using BEx Web Application Designer, you can analyze your business data geographically. The context menu for the map contains a number of navigation options and interactive options for other items in your Web application. These all help to simplify your geographical analysis.
You have created a Web application containing a map In BEx Web Application Designer.
At least one other Web item (for example an Analysis Web item) must be included for you to be able to use the interactive functions. You can then define this analysis grid using the map.
The context menu for maps contains all the standard menu options (see Context Menu Functions). However, the following two functions are different to the functions in the standard menu and offer special functions for use with maps:

Each of the context menu options for navigation (Goto, Filter, Change Drilldown) relate to a map level and the geo-relevant characteristic it is assigned to.
You call all navigation functions in the context menu. You open this menu by selecting the map with the right mouse button.
