Preparation and Customizing 

Before you can carry out the workflows Execute Planning Session in BW-BPS and Manual Planning and Planning Function, you must carry out the preparations described below.

       1.      Create a planning level, planning package, and planning layout in the BW-BPS planning environment. Also create a planning function with parameter group for the workflow Manual Planning and Planning Function.

       2.      Classify the task Enter Plan Data in the Basis Implementation Guide under SAP NetWeaver  → SAP Web Application Server  → Business Management → SAP Business Workflow → Perform Task-Specific Customizing.

                            a.      Choose  Execute.

                            b.      Navigate to the BW → BW-PLA → BW-PLA-BPS folder.

                            c.      Choose  Assign Agent. The Tasks of an Application Component: Assign Agent screen appears.

                            d.      Select the Enter BPS Plan Data task and choose Properties.  The Task dialog box appears.

                            e.      Choose the General Task option.

       3.      Specify which agent should be provided with which planning package for plan data entry in the inbox. Maintain the agent assignment in the BPS01 rule. This takes place in the workflow development menu.

                            a.      Choose Tools → Business Workflow → Definition Tools → Rules for Agent Assignment → Change from the SAP Easy Access screen.

                            b.      Enter rule BPS01 in the field that is ready for input and choose  Change.

                            c.      Choose the tab page Responsibilities. You enter the planning area, planning level, and planning package in a responsibility. You can then assign one or several agents to this responsibility.
