Procedure documentationSetting Load Balancing for DataStore Object Processes in the Dialog

The processes for activating data in the DataStore object and determining the SID while activating and deleting requests from the DataStore object (rollback) can be run either in the background or in the dialog. If you run these processes in the dialog in parallel, you can specify an RFC server group for the load balancing.

Procedure

  1. Create an RFC server group that you assign to instances in your BW system.

  2. To set up load balancing using instances of the RFC group, specify the RFC group in the runtime parameters for the DataStore object. You can make this setting for either all DataStore objects for the above-mentioned processes or for individual DataStore objects. With dialog processing, you can also set the load balancing in BW background management.
