 Alerts

Use

You can display and edit the planned orders alerts.

Prerequisites

You use the alert monitor and create a PP/DS alert profile. The PP/DS alert profile enables you to select user-specific alerts for your area of responsibility. The function for creating a PP/DS alert profile, can be found in the SAP APO Easy Access menu under Start of the navigation path Supply Chain Monitoring Next navigation step Alert Monitor. To display tracking information in the detail area, use a detail profile assigned to the detail screen ALERTS. For more information, see Preparatory Measures .

You select the detail profile and the alert profile in the User Settings.

Features

In planned order management , the functions of the alert monitor are listed on the Alerts tab page.

Various functions are available to you, such as:

  • Recognize

  • Reset

  • Transfer

  • Freeze

  • Hide

Activities

  1. For more information about a planned order, select the planned order in the Order Overview and choose .

The system transfers the planned order to the detail area.

  1. In the detail area, select the Alerts tab page.

  1. Choose the alert you wish to edit. You can choose several alerts

  1. Choose the required function.

  • To recognize the alert, choose .

  • To reset the alert, choose .

  • To transfer the alert, choose .

The dialog box appears. Enter the name of the person and choose

  • To freeze the alert, choose .

  • To hide the alert, choose .

The icon appears next to , to show that an alert has been hidden.
