Activities
You are provided with an overview of the planning activities that are relevant for the planned orders, and you can make changes in the product planning.
The activities displayed in the overview are generated during planning for every resource, on which the planned order is processed.
If you use iPPE for repetitive manufacturing, the SAP APO
generates a line resource for each line node, after the transfer of iPPE data.
If, for example, the planned order is to be executed on the line resources body shop 1, paint 1 and final assembly 1, then the planning generates the three corresponding activities body shop 1, paint 1 and final assembly 1.
If you work with the shop-floor-orientated manufacturing with iPPE, then the SAP APO
system generates a resource (for example, a single activity resource) from the iPPE production resource, which you have entered in the mode of the iPPE activity.
To display the activities in the detail area, use a detail profile assigned to the detail screen ACTIVIT. For more information about the profiles, see Preparatory Measures. You select the detail profile
in the User Settings.
You have defined a propagation range containing the products that you want to plan.
Within planned order management
, the activities are found on the Activities
tab page.
The activities relevant for planning are displayed with the resources locations and status for the selected planned order. For each activity, a start and end date is specified as well as the duration of the activity.
You can determine the characteristic views by clicking on the corresponding icon. For more information about creating characteristic views, see Order Overview.
You can also switch to change mode. The following functions are available to you in change mode:
You can switch modes:
