Rules for Creating a Procedure Package
If you want to define your own procedure package, you must take note of the following combination possibilities and rules:

Caution
When using the LP procedure, you cannot choose the planning segment in the line network. You must define the first line of the line segment as the planning segment.

Caution
When using the LP procedure, you cannot choose the planning segment in the line network. You must define the first line or the first group of alternative lines of the line segment as the planning segment.
Define the planning basis of the individual horizons for dispatching the orders in ascending order starting with the short-term horizon.
.
You cannot enter an adjustment period for the planning basis "Order-oriented with lot size 1". It is also not possible to specify an adjustment period in the long-term horizon.
The planning basis of the horizon must suit the planning basis of the procedure (algorithm). The planning basis of the selected procedure limits the selection of the planning basis of the horizon and vice versa.
If, for example, you selected a purely sequentially-oriented
procedure
(procedure for creating an order sequence) for a horizon, the planning run cannot be carried out on the basis of a shift or a day. Instead, you have to enter a planning basis with lot size 1
for the horizon. This means that in this case, the planning
must create planned orders with lot size 1.
If you selected a period-based procedure for a horizon, then you have to choose a planning basis with the setting Cumulated per day or shift
for the horizon.
