Example 2: Takt Scheduling Within Production The following example shows how takt-based scheduling affects orders that have already been confirmed in production or have already been started.
Following takt-based scheduling, the system has moved the already confirmed and started orders (shown in red) into the past. The released (green) and scheduled (yellow) orders have been sorted according to their dates/times.
In this approach, orders that are fixed can lose their previous position because the system forms a new order sequence according to the order dates/times and, in doing so, treats the fixed orders in exactly the same way as the non-fixed ones that are only scheduled.
