The test plan consistency check can be performed for a test plan. You get a filtered view of the messages for the selected test plan. You can compare the message status (green/yellow/red) with the tester's results, and identify inconsistencies.

Prerequisites

You have created a profile in transaction STWB_SET, and assigned priority and weighting to it.

Activities

You define profiles which you put in the test plan attributes later.

  1. Select your test plan in transaction STWB_2.

  2. Choose  Attributes.

    You go to the test plan attribute display.

  3. To change attributes, go to maintenance mode with Display <-> Change.

  4. In the Standards tab under Profiles, choose a profile for:

    1. Test status weighting

    2. Test plan consistency

  5. Save your entries.

  6. Go to the display mode of your test plan by going Back (F3) to the test plan management (STWB_2).

  7. Choose Test Plan Consistency, to check the test plan consistency.

Example

A filter has been created, which should only display messages with status New, priority High and Medium.

When you have checked the test plan consistency, only messages which satrsfy the filter are displayed. You see only messages with status New, priority High and Medium, but not with status New and Priority Low.
