Effectivity Variants in the Filter  

Use

You enter values for the effectivity parameters in order to filter the nodes and their structures that are displayed in the navigation area and, if required, the nodes displayed on the Variants tab page in iPPE Workbench Professional.

Integration

You can select effectivity parameters from those created for iPPE in Customizing for Change Management. You can define additional effectivity parameters, but these are not considered in iPPE Workbench Professional.

Features

You have the following options for controlling the display:

●      Entries for the material, plant, and usage.

●      You can select certain objects by entering the class, class type, start-up parameters, and date.

Activities

       1.      Choose  Filter.

The header data and tab pages for the filter are displayed in the detail area.

       2.      Enter an existing filter or create a new one.

       3.      Set the Parameter Effectivity indicator and choose the Parameter Variant tab page.

The Effectivity Parameters screen area is displayed.

       4.      Enter the relevant data and choose Save Filter.
