Exclusive Lockwaits (Oracle)

You can use this procedure to display exclusive lockwaits.

Procedure

       1.      Choose Tools ® Administration ® Computing Center ® Management System ® Control ® Performance Menu ® Database ® Activity.

Alternatively, use transaction code ST04.

       2.      Choose Detail analysis menu ® Exclusive lockwaits.

Exclusive lockwaits are displayed here. A lockwait means that at least one process is locked through a lock held by another process. A request waits for a resource which is locked exclusively by another user. The process holding the lock and the waiting process(es) are displayed.
