This query displays all hotel bookings for each hotel chain and country. The data is based on the hotel bookings made with the R/3 component Travel Planning via the connected reservation system. The number of booked hotel rooms, nights and the total price are displayed for each provider. You can evaluate the results in further detail by using additional drilldowns, for example hotel chain, room type or rate category.

You can also restrict reporting to a specific time frame:

• Display by quarter
• Display by calendar year

If you select a filter value, only the data for the quarter or calendar year entered is displayed. To view the values of several quarters or years next to one another for comparison, use the appropriate time characteristic to expand the evaluation.

You can use this query, for example, to answer the following questions:

• With which service provider do we have the highest business volume?
• What kind of major customer rates can we negotiate based on this?

The presentation hierarchy IATAL (geographical hierarchy of IATA locations) is linked to the hotel location When you drilldown according to hotel location, a hierarchical listing of the hotel locations, based upon the regions defined in Customizing for Travel Management, is displayed.

The Total hotel price refers to the cumulated hotel stay.
