iPPE in SAP DIMP, SAP SCM, and SAP
ERP
You can use Integrated Product and Process Engineering (iPPE) in the following applications:
● SAP for Discrete Industries and Mill Products (SAP DIMP)
● SAP Supply Chain Management (SAP SCM)
● SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (SAP ERP)
This section contains an overview of the respective main transaction and most important paths in the applications.
In SAP DIMP and SAP SCM, you use iPPE Workbench Professional to manage the iPPE objects. In SAP ERP, you use Product Designer.
● SAP DIMP
On the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Logistics ® Production ® Master Data ® Integrated Product and Process Engineering.
● SAP SCM:
On the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Advanced Planning and Optimization ® Master Data ® Integrated Product and Process Engineering.
● SAP ERP:
On the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Logistics ® Production ® Master Data ® Integrated Product Engineering.
Or:
On the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Logistics ® Central Functions ® Engineering ® Integrated Product Engineering.
● SAP DIMP
Choose Cross-Application Components ® Integrated Product and Process Engineering.
Or
Choose Production ® Basic Data ® Integrated Product and Process Engineering.
● SAP SCM:
