Use

Product maintenance reporting helps you to keep an overview of all product maintenance procedures in your SAP Solution Manager system. You can simultaneously view procedures which belong to several different solutions, and you can also view closed or withdrawn procedures.

You can use the reporting function to:

Create an overview of product maintenance procedures which match specific criteria such as status or priority.

Navigate to the corresponding step of an open product maintenance procedure in the Maintenance Optimizer.

Create an overview of product maintenance procedures and save the overview to a local file for further processing.

Integration

The reporting function is integrated with SAP CRM and uses CRM functions to list the selected Maintenance Optimizer product maintenance procedures.

Prerequisites

Users in the SAP Solution Manager system must have created one or more product maintenance procedures.

Features

The results can be transferred to an external application for further processing. For example:

·        Microsoft Excel

·        Rich Text Format

·        HTML

Activities

To display the overview of the product maintenance procedures performed with the Maintenance Optimizer, call transaction /TMWFLOW/MAINTENANCE

Select product maintenance procedures based on the following criteria:

·        System status:

       Open

       Completed

·        Priority: The priority set by the user for the procedure

·        User Status: This corresponds to the current step of a procedure.

·        Created/Changed on: The date on which the procedure was created or last changed:

·        Created/Changed By: The user who created or last changed the procedure.

·        Solution: The SAP Solution Manager solution in which the procedure was created.

·        SAP Product: The product version as selected in the step Start Maintenance Planning

·        System: A system entered in the procedure

·        System status: The implementation status of the systems in the procedure. If at least one system in the procedure matches the status criteria you set, the report will list that procedure.

Choose Execute.

As a result, a list of product maintenance procedures appears which corresponds to your selection criteria. You can sort the information according to the various columns and/or save the list to a local file for further processing.

For more details about an entry in the list, double-click the entry. The system navigates to the corresponding step in the Maintenance Optimizer, as it was last saved by the user.
