Installing the Business Client 

Use

All users who want to display or edit applications in the Business Client need to have a Business Client installation on their computer, or access to a Windows Terminal Server with a Business Client installed.

For information about adding the NWBC to the installation server see Front End Installation Guide, which is stored in the Docu directory on the CD.

Procedure

       1.      Close all open front-end applications.

       2.      Open the setup file by double-clicking it in the SAP GUI installation catalog.

       3.      Select the option for SAP NetWeaver Business Client, and choose Next.

We recommend you install the Business Client together with the SAP GUI 7.10.

Make sure that enough memory is available on your disk drive to meet the Memory Space Requirements for installation.

       4.      The installation process now starts.

During the installation process, you will be regularly informed about how the installation is progressing.

       5.      To complete installation, choose Finish.

If any problems occur during installation, they are logged. You can display the problem file by choosing the relevant link.

Result

Your desktop now has a shortcut for opening the Business Client locally.
