Business Client Configuration
After the installation of the NetWeaver Business Client and before the development of Business Client applications, the configuration settings described below must be made.
Prerequisites
The Application Server ABAP (AS-ABAP) usage type that you use must be configured correctly.
You can find information about AS ABAP configuration in the SAP Reference IMG (Implementation Guide) under Application Server or in the SAP Solution Manager (Business Suite 2005) under Business Process Repository (transaction SOLAR_LIBRARY) ® Solutions ® Basic Configuration ® Configuration Structures ® SAP NetWeaver 7.0 or SAP NetWeaver 7.1 ® Usage Type AS ABAP.
Configuration Settings
The configuration settings for the Business Client are in two areas:
● Server Configuration and Administration
Configuration and administration settings in the AS-ABAP system on which the Business Client is based.
Configuration settings for the relevant client PC and user of the Business Client.
