| menu button (BC-FES) |
Element of the graphical user interface.
A menu button is a special pushbutton with its own menu. When you press a menu button, its menu opens and you can select from the menu entries.
After you have selected and pressed a menu entry, the system performs the function assigned to this entry. While the menu is displayed, the menu button is in a pressed state. After a menu entry is chosen, the menu disappears and the menu button returns to an unpressed state.
