Sending Scheduling Agreement Confirmations to
SAP APO
In the service parts planning scenario, the supplier can send scheduling agreement confirmations that he or she created in release processing or in extended confirmation management (ECM) of SAP Supply Network Collaboration (SAP SNC) to collaborative management of scheduling agreement releases (CMDS) in SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (SAP APO). The send function is only available in the release details on the Confirmations tab page, and not on the confirmation screen used in ECM.
If you want to send the scheduling agreement confirmations to SAP APO, choose Save + Send Confirmations. SAP SNC sends all confirmations that are displayed on the Confirmations tab page and that do not have one of the following statuses:
● Draft
● Request (only relevant for confirmation requests in ECM)
● Closed
● Canceled
SAP SNC generates an XML message (DeliveryScheduleConfirmation) and sends it to SAP NetWeaver with a DeliveryScheduleConfirmation. SAP NetWeaver maps the XML message to the IDoc DELCONF.DELFOR01 and sends the IDoc to SAP APO. A corresponding XSLT mapping is available.
In the standard
system, SAP SNC sends the XML message directly in the background. However, you
can also change the configuration so that SAP SNC uses the Post Processing
Framework (PPF) to send the XML message. For more information, see
Publication of XML
Messages.
