Web Screens for Returns Processing 

Use

In the Web application menu of SAP Supply Network Collaboration (SAP SNC), there are various business partner-specific views for displaying RMAs and processing returns advanced shipping notifications (returns ASNs). Each view only contains the functions that correspond to the role of the respective business partner.

Features

The following Web screens are available:

●      RMA overview

The RMA overview displays RMAs with any status. In addition to valid RMAs, this also includes RMAs that have already expired or RMAs for which the customer has already returned the full approved quantity of the goods. In the RMA overview, customer and supplier can create returns ASNs, or cancel RMAs with open quantities that are no longer needed.

●      RMA due list

The RMA due list only displays valid RMAs. These are RMAs whose expiration date lies in the future and for which the customer has not completely returned the goods. The RMA due list provides the same functions as the RMA overview.

●      Returns ASNs overview

Customer, supplier and goods recipient can display a list of all returns ASNs that the customer or the supplier has created for RMAs.

●      Returns ASNs details

Customer, supplier, or goods recipient can display the details of a returns ASN here.

Visible Data

A user of a business partner can see RMAs and returns ASNs, in which this business partner is entered in the corresponding role, as follows:

●      The user of a customer can see the following RMAs and returns ASNs:

○       RMAs and returns ASNs in which this customer has been entered as the customer

○       RMAs and returns ASNs of the customer that have a subordinate position to this customer in the business partner hierarchy

The prerequisite for this is that the user in the business partner master of the customer is linked to the customer via the relationship categories Is SNC User of and Has SNC User.

●      The user of a supplier can see the RMAs and returns ASNs in which this business partner has been entered as the supplier.

●      The user of a goods recipient can see the RMAs and returns ASNs in which this business partner has been entered as the goods recipient.

RMA Selection

In the RMA overview, and in the RMA due list, the expiration date is available as a selection criterion. You can use it to select RMAs as follows:

●      If you enter a returns end date in the RMA due list, the RMA due list displays all RMAs whose returns end date is between the current date and the specified returns end date. If you do not enter a returns end date, the RMA due list displays all RMAs that have not yet expired.

●      If you enter a returns end date in the RMA overview, the RMA overview displays all RMAs whose returns end date is before the specified date. If you do not specify a returns end date, the RMA overview displays all RMAs irrespective of the returns end date.
