This parameter determines whether an external client may change the trace level of the SAP System. Such changes may be necessary for diagnostic purposes.

Value Range and Syntax
The logical value can be specified as TRUE / FALSE or 1 / 0.
SAP Recommendation
For security reasons you should leave the parameter with its standard value of 0 (FALSE). For diagnostic purposes you can change the value dynamically (Web administration interface or transaction SMICM)
