Use

A business partner is a natural person, organization, group of natural persons, or group of organizations in which a company has a business interest. A business partner may be a person (Mr. Tom Jones), organization (Electro Products Inc.), or group within a company (Sales dept. of Electro Products Inc).

A business partner can have several roles at one time. Roles are determined by role categories, e.g. ordering party, prospective customers, payer or payee.

A business partner can have relationships with other business partners. Relationships are determined by relationship categories, for example subsidiary of, contact person for, marriage or identical to.

A business partner can have more than one address. Addresses are determined using address types such as delivery address or correspondence address.

Using role determination, several business partners can be allocated to one business partner. Partner functions are used to define the rights and responsibilities of each partner type in a business transaction. A business partner can be defined as a payee for another business partner.

A link may be establish between the sold-to customer master and a payer customer. In such situation, the invoice will be sent to the payer customer while the goods will be shipped to the sold-to-party.
0VENDOR	Vendor A vendor business partner may also be define for various roles such as a vendor used for ordering address and another vendor business partner used as goods supplier.
