Creating Phase-In/Out Profiles
You have made the basic settings for lifecycle planning in the planning area. See Setting Up Lifecycle Planning.
From the main lifecycle planning screen choose Phase In/Out.
Enter a name for the profile in the Time Series field (phase-in/out profiles are technically time series). Also enter a brief description.
Enter the start and finish date for the profile as well as the periodicity (week, month, etc.). This determines how many values you can enter in the profile. Choose Enter.
The dates you enter here are default values. When you assign the profile to characteristic values combinations, you can change the dates. This means that you can use the same phase-in/out profile repeatedly without having to change the profile.
If required, enter factors for the time before the start and after the finish. Set the relevant indicators. For more information, see the F1 help of these fields.
In the bottom half of the screen enter values for each period. You enter values in the form of percentages (for instance 80 %). Choose to copy values to other periods. A dialog box appears. Here you enter the numbers of the periods to be copied and the number of the period after which the values are copied. For example, if you enter in the first line periods 1 to 3 and in the Use after period field 6, the system copies the values from periods 1, 2, and 3 into periods 7,8, and 9.
Save the profile. Choose to save and exit the screen, to save and remain on the screen. You can then choose to empty all fields and edit another profile.
You can copy existing time series by choosing Edit ®

Similarly you can delete time series by choosing Edit ®

You can also change the settings for profiles in a planning area. Choose Edit ®
