Attributes

Enter values for promotion attribute types here. See Promotion Attribute Type.

Planning Area

The data you enter here provides the connection to the planning books.

Field

Explanation

Planning Area

The planning area is determined by the planning book you are currently using. If you call promotion planning directly (from the menu, for instance), this is the planning book to which you have been assigned in general or in particular for transaction /SAPAPO/MP34.

Planning Version

Choose a planning version that already exists in the planning area.

Promotion Key Figure

Enter the key figure in which the data for the promotion is to be stored. This key figure should already exist in the planning book.

If you are using a promotion base, the system automatically copies the key figure, which has been assigned to the promotion base, to this field. You cannot change this value here.

Plan Key Figure

Enter the key figure in which the data for the baseline (the plan without the promotion) is stored. This key figure should already exist in the planning book.

Promotion Level

The characteristic at which level the promotion is maintained is displayed here. Here, you decide, for instance, if you want to plan promotions for a product or a location. This is the lowest level on which you can plan.

To set the promotion level, on the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Demand Planning ® Planning ® Promotion ® Maintain Promotion Key Figures.

       4.      After you have entered all the data, choose Save. The parameters now appear in the lower half of the screen as tab pages. The upper half is a planning table as in interactive planning.

To enter planning data, proceed as described in Editing Promotion Planning Data.
