Procedure documentationDuplicating Activities

 

An activity can be duplicated with values in certain fields copied to the new activity. The number of the new activity is the next available number.

Procedure

  1. From the SAP Business One Main Menu, choose Start of the navigation path Business Partners Next navigation step Activity End of the navigation path.

  2. In the Activity window, display the required activity using standard search functions.

  3. Duplicate the activity using one of the following three methods:

    • Right-click anywhere in the Activity window, except for the Attachments table, and choose Duplicate.

    • Press Ctrl + D.

    • Choose Start of the navigation path Data Next navigation step Duplicate End of the navigation path.

  4. The new activity opens in Add mode with values in the following fields or areas copied from the existing activity:

    • General Area: Activity, Type, Subject, Assigned To, Personal checkbox.

    • General Tab: Remarks

    • Content Tab

    Fields whose values are not copied are filled with default values, if any.
