Defining Authorization Groups
Employees in a company can be grouped according to their roles (for example, sales people, accountants, and managers). Generally, different roles require different authorizations for functions, features, and data within SAP Business One. You can assign SAP Business One users to different authorization groups, based on the users' corresponding actual roles.
After assigning users to authorization groups, you can grant authorization at the group level and then fine-tune each individual user's authorizations. For more information, see Defining Authorizations.
As in real life, each SAP Business One user may belong to more than one group. For example, an accounting manager may play the roles of both an accountant and a manager.
