Allocating Regular Items from Bin Locations
During the issuing of inventory, while SAP Business One can allocate items from bin locations automatically, you can also perform the allocation manually.
For more information about the automatic allocation, see Automatic Bin Location Allocation in Issues.
The following procedure explains how to manually allocate items that are not managed by serials or batches from bin locations.
You have enabled bin locations for your warehouse.
For more information, see Enabling Bin Locations.
From the SAP Business One Main Menu
, open an issue document.
For a list of issue documents, see Issues from Bin Locations.

.
In the Bin Location Allocation - Issue
window, select the bin locations from which you want to issue the items and specify how many of each item you want to issue from each bin location.
Note
SAP Business One lets you allocate an item from a bin location even if the allocation causes the inventory of the item in the bin location to fall below zero. This makes it possible for you to record an issue document in advance when your inventory falls short of the requirement of the issue document.
To allow negative inventory of an item, select the Allow Negative Inventory
checkbox in the corresponding row.
If SAP Business One has already allocated the item from bin locations, you can first clear the allocations by choosing the Clear Allocations
pushbutton.
Note
You must fully allocate the item from bin locations till the Remaining
quantity is zero. Otherwise, you cannot add the issue document.
In the Bin Location Allocation - Issue
window, choose OK
. The window closes.
To add the issue document, choose Add
in the document.
