Use this window to define different package types.

Defining Package Types

  1. From the SAP Business One Main Menu, choose Start of the navigation path Administration Next navigation step Setup Next navigation step Inventory Next navigation step Package Types End of the navigation path.

  2. In the Package Types - Setup window, enter the type names and specify their corresponding dimensions and weight.

  3. Choose the Update pushbutton, then choose the OK button.

Removing Package Types

Note Note

You cannot remove a package type from SAP Business One if it is in use in a document.

  1. In the Package Type - Setup window, right-click the package you want to delete and choose Remove.

  2. Choose the Update pushbutton, and then choose the OK pushbutton.

Package Types Field
Type

Enter the name of a package type that you want to define.
Length, Width, Height, Weight

The default UoMs for these fields are the default length UoM and weight UoM specified on the Display tab of the General Settings window. You can also enter the UoMs manually.
Volume

The application automatically calculates the volume according to the length, width, and height you have defined, and displays the result in the grid. You can change it by manually entering a different value, but the values in the Length, Width and Height fields are then cleared immediately.
Volume UoM

Select a volume UoM from the dropdown list. The default volume UoM corresponds with the default length UoM specified on the Display tab of the General Settings window.
