Procedure

  1. From the SAP Business One, version for SAP HANA Main Menu, choose Start of the navigation path Administration Next navigation step System Initialization Next navigation step Document Settings Next navigation step General End of the navigation path.

    The Document Settings window appears.

  2. Select the Enable Advanced Available to Promise checkbox, choose the Yes button in the system message, and choose the Update button in the Document Settings window.

    Note Note

    The process may take a while, depending on the number of relevant open documents. If you have a large number of open documents, especially sales orders, in order not to disrupt your daily work, we recommend you enable the advanced ATP function during non-working hours.

    Note Note

    When you deselect this checkbox, only the ATP checking rule definition and assignments will be retained. Once you select the checkbox again, you do not need to redefine and assign the ATP checking rules again.

Result

  • The advanced ATP function is available.

  • The ATP Checking Rules - Setup button appears. To define ATP checking rules, choose the ATP Checking Rules - Setup button to open the ATP Checking Rule List window. For more information, see Defining ATP Checking Rules.

  • On the Per Document tab of the Document Settings window for sales orders, the checkbox Activate Automatic Availability Check is deselected and disappears.
