The Bank Statement File Format Project (BFP) is the same format as that used by the Format Definition add-on. You can still create and edit bank formats for banking statement processing as you do in the Format Definition add-on.

Prerequisites

You have started the Electronic File Manager: Format Definition add-on.

Procedure

  1. From the menu bar, choose   File   Tool   Electronic File Manager: Format Definition  .

  2. To create a new BFP format, do one of the following:

    • On the Start Page tab, under Create a new format project, click Bank Statement File Format Project.

    • In the toolbar, click (New), or choose   File   New  .

      1. In the Create a New Format window, click (Bank Statement File Format Project).

      2. To specify the path, choose the ellipsis (browse) button and choose the path.

      3. Specify the format name and choose the Okay button.

    The new BFP format is opened in the SAP Business One Format Definition window.

  3. In the SAP Business One Format Definition window, specify the BFP format details.

  4. To save the format, in the menu bar, choose   File   Save  .
