Use this tab to enter general information about a meeting you want to view in the calendar, such as a meeting with a business partner, or a personal meeting.
To view the fields for meetings, choose

Shortly, describe the meeting. |
Specify the date and time for the start of the meeting. By default, the system date and time are displayed. Note When you define an activity as a recurring activity, the date of the Start Time and the value in the Repeat on section are interdependent. End of the note. |
Specify the time for the conclusion of the meeting. By default, the end time is set to fifteen minutes past the start time. Caution You cannot set the end time to a time earlier than the start time. End of the caution. |
Specify the length of time you expect the meeting to take. By default, the duration is set to fifteen minutes. If you change it, the end time is updated accordingly. Note To specify hours, type the number of hours followed by the letter H. End of the note. |
Specify the address details of the meeting location. Note To automatically specify a business partner’s address, select Business Partner Address in the Meeting Location field and select an address ID in the Address ID field. The details of the business partner's default (or first, if no default address is specified) Ship to address are automatically applied. Manually editing the meeting location address details in the Activity window does not change the business partner's address information. End of the note. |
Used for setting recurring activities. It is only available for Phone Call, Meeting, or Task. The default value is None that stands for non-recurring activities. Select from the dropdown list to define the frequency of the recurring activity. You can define a daily, weekly, monthly, or annually activity. |
Use it to define the frequency for the recurring activity. It is only available for Phone Call, Meeting, or Task, when the value of Recurrence is not None.

Use it to define the date when the activity recurs. It is only available for Phone Call, Meeting, or Task, when the value of Recurrence is not None.
Note For the second dropdown list of the second radio button for both monthly and annual activities, the ranges of weekdays and weekends are decided by the values specified in the Weekend From ... Select to display a reminder in the Messages/Alert Overview window prior to the time set for the meeting. Specify the reminder in minutes or hours. To specify hours, type the number of hours followed by the letter H. Note The reminder is displayed according to the settings on the Services tab in .End of the note. Indicates that you are not certain the meeting will occur. |
Inactivates the activity and removes it from your calendar. You can still update and reactivate it. |
Closes the activity. Caution You cannot reopen or modify a closed activity. End of the caution. |
Opens a new Activity window where you can enter a follow-up activity. No follow up is available for recurring activities. Note To enter a follow-up activity, you must first add the current activity. End of the note. |
