After defining ATP checking rules, you can assign the rules to different items or item groups.

Procedure

  • To assign a checking rule to an item group, from the SAP Business One, version for SAP HANA Main Menu, choose   Administration   Setup   Inventory   Item Groups  . On the General tab, in the Checking Rule field, specify a checking rule.

    For newly-added items that belong to this item group, this rule appears in the Checking Rule field on the Planning Data tab for the items.

  • To assign a checking rule to an item, from the SAP Business One, version for SAP HANA Main Menu, choose   Inventory   Item Master Data  . On the Planning Data tab, specify a checking rule in the Checking Rule field.

    Note Note

    If a rule is not defined for an item, SAP Business One, version for SAP HANA will use the predefined ATP checking rule AA in the ATP Checking Rule List window. For more information, see Defining ATP Checking Rules.
