Use this window to specify selection criteria for generating tax reports.

To open this window, choose   Financials   Financial Reports   Accounting   Tax   Tax Report Generation  . Alternatively, open it from the Reports module.

Selection Criteria
Tax Declaration Type

Select one of the following report types to generate:

  • Original: new tax report

  • Replacement: existing report updated with changes

  • Adjusted: existing report updated with missing items

Tax Declaration Name

Select the period for a report.

Adjustment

Select the adjusted version of a report.

Tax Settlement Account (Liability)

Select the account to which the paid tax is re-posted from the VAT account.

Available only for Germany and UK.

Tax Settlement Account (Claim)

Select the account to which the claimed tax is re-posted from the VAT account.

Available only for Germany and UK.

Date

Generate the report according to either the posting or the document date type.

Date From...To...

Define a date range for the report.

Combined with your selection in the Tax Declaration Type field, the tax report displays all the documents whose posting date or document date falls into the selected range:

  • Original: Displays the documents that are not saved to any period and match the selected date range.

  • Replacement: Displays the documents that are saved to the period of the tax report that you selected in the Tax Declaration Name field and the documents that are not saved to any period and match the selected date range.

  • Adjusted: Displays the documents that are not saved to any period and match the selected date range.

If you do not specify the date range, all the periods are taken as the default date range for the tax report.

Series

Enables you to filter the transactions to be included in the tax report by series. Proceed as follows:

  1. Select the radio button.

  2. In the Series - Filter window, specify the required series. To open the window, click Browse (Browse) next to the radio button.

Transaction Type

Enables you to filter the transactions to be included in the tax report by transaction type. Proceed as follows:

  1. Select the radio button.

  2. In the Document Type window, specify the relevant document types. To open the window, click Browse (Browse) next to the radio button.
