Use this window to record the counting results in batch numbers.

To access this window, in inventory counting documents, place the cursor in the Counted Qty field, or the Counter 1 Count field or the Counter 2 Count field, and do one of the following:

  • Press Ctrl and Tab.

  • Right-click and do one of the following:

    • For one inventory counter, choose Serial and Batch Selection.

    • For two inventory counters, choose Serial and Batch Selection for Counter 1 or Serial and Batch Selection for Counter 2.

    • From the Goto menu, choose as above.

Batch Number Counting Fields
Create

Choose this button to open the Batches – Setup window to create new batches. For more information, see Batches - Setup Window.
Auto Select

Use this button to let SAP Business One automatically select batches for you.

When you choose this button, SAP Business One always selects the quantity from the oldest batch first.
