Use this window to manage all your reports and layouts. To access the window, from the SAP Business One Main Menu, choose   Administration   Setup   General   Report and Layout Manager  .

List Tab

Lists the reports and document types in all SAP Business One modules. By clicking any document type, you display all its layouts in the right pane of window. The layouts may include both PLD layouts and Crystal Reports layouts.

In addition to all the modules in the SAP Business One Main Menu, the following two folders are listed:

  • Lost Reports: Stores user-defined Crystal reports that have not been assigned to any specific folder. You cannot find these reports in the SAP Business One Main Menu until you assign them to a module.

  • Add-On Layouts: Stores Crystal Reports layouts that are created for add-ons.

    You can also find the add-on layouts in the corresponding module. For example, the Crystal Reports layouts of the fixed assets history sheet are located in the following folders:

    •   Add-On Layouts   Fixed Assets  

    •   Financials   Fixed Assets   Asset History Sheet  
Search Tab

You can search for reports and layouts by keyword.

To search for a report, select the Report radio button and search by the report name.

To search for a layout, select the Document Type radio button and search by one of the following:

  • Document type code

  • Document type name

  • Layout ID

  • Layout name
Asterisk Indicates

Select the Report checkbox to display an asterisk (*) beside each folder that contains Crystal reports.

Select the Layout checkbox to display an asterisk (*) beside each folder or document type that contains layouts. The layouts can be either PLD layouts or Crystal Reports layouts.
Export

Choose this pushbutton to access the report and layout export wizard. You can conduct the following exports:

  • Export user-defined Crystal reports and Crystal Reports layouts to a local disk

  • Export system and user-defined Crystal reports to a Crystal Server that is integrated with SAP Business One

Import

Choose this pushbutton to access the report and layout import wizard. You can import the following files:

  • An rpt file

  • A b1p package file that contains either Crystal reports or Crystal Reports layouts

    Note Note

    As of SAP Business One release 8.82, reports and layouts are exported into b1px packages instead of a b1p package.

  • A b1px package file that may contain both Crystal reports and Crystal Reports layouts
