Bin Location Code Modification Window

Use this window to modify the bin location codes.

SAP Business One lets you preview the bin location codes before you modify them.

To access the window, from the SAP Business One Main Menu, choose Inventory Bin Locations Bin Location Code Modification .

Select Bin Location Codes

Use this section to select a range of bin location codes that you want to modify.

Warehouse From ... To
Specify the warehouse codes that compose the bin location codes you want to modify. You can select a range of warehouses from the dropdown lists of warehouses which have bin locations enabled.

<Sublevel 1/2/3/4> From ... To
Specify the warehouse sublevel codes that comprise the bin location codes you want to modify. You can select a range of sublevel codes from the dropdown lists. Note Only the sublevels you have activated are available. By default, SAP Business One activates sublevel 1 for you. To activate other warehouse sublevels, go to Bin Location Field Activation Window. Modify Sublevels for Selected Bin Location Codes

Use this section to modify the sublevel code segments of the selected bin location codes.

Note Note

In this section, you can see a checkbox to the left of each sublevel field.

You can use the checkbox to indicate whether you want to modify the sublevel code segments of the selected bin location codes.

If you want to modify a sublevel code segment of the selected bin location codes, select the checkbox to the left of the sublevel field first. However, if you do not want to change the sublevel code segment of the selected bin location codes, leave the checkbox to the left of the sublevel field unselected.

<Sublevel 1>
If you want to modify the sublevel 1 code segment of the selected bin location codes, select the left-side checkbox first. To use a new code segment in the selected bin location codes, specify the sublevel code in the right-side field. To remove the code segment from the selected bin location codes, leave the right-side field empty.

<Sublevel 2>
Note The field is available only if you have activated warehouse sublevel 2. To do so, go to Bin Location Field Activation Window. End of the note. If you want to modify the sublevel 2 code segment of the selected bin location codes, select the left-side checkbox first. To use a new code segment in the selected bin location codes, specify the sublevel code in the right-side field. To remove the code segment from the selected bin location codes, leave the right-side field empty.
